In a credit FAQ titled #39;Can India Sovereign Ratings Withstand The Global Sputter#39;, SP said despite India#39;s strong external balance sheet, it has not been able to escape the difficult landscape the rest of its emerging market peers have faced over the course of the year and #39;more severe conditions#39;, could apply downward pressure on India#39;s sovereign credit ratings.
